If a burial is your preferred choice, you will advise us whether this will be a new or existing grave. For new graves, the main decision is which cemetery to choose, if you do not already have a family grave we can advise where new graves are available, either in a church or council cemetery or a woodland burial site. Whichever you choose, Jones Funeral Directors will guide and support you.

Whether you wish to plan a simple traditional graveside service at a particular cemetery or a burial with a more personalised farewell, or a greener choice in a peaceful woodland, we can help arrange every aspect of a burial. We will carefully explain all the options available to you and help you create a funeral service to meet all your needs.

All burial fees are outside the control of all funeral directors and are classed as 3rd party fees or disbursements.

New graves purchased from Hull City Council come with a 10 year lease (extra 10 year leases are available to purchase if required).
New graves purchased from East Riding leases come with a 60 year lease.

Each church may differ in price for burials, there may be some restrictions by the church or parish council regarding the allocation for a burial plot.
